Uhaul your troubles away!

I moved on Saturday I rented a truck from Uhaul seeing as its the most convenient way to get stuff from one point to another. I pick up my truck and drop off my truck with out a hitch the same day. I received a phone call claiming I never turned in the truck. I am apparently trying to steal a Uhaul and like make it my own. I can paint it yellow with some racing stripes maybe put a spoiler on it. The bigger the better! Damn that would be tight! Anyway I honestly think they rented it out to someone else and forgot to take me off the system. Always fun when two lost people have conversation about lost Uhauls.

A condo life for me...

Today I signed off all the papers on the condo and it is officially mine. I am instantly in debt to the bank for some large sum of money with plenty of zeros! On the upside I own about 1000 square feet on the north side of Chicago about 35 feet up in the air. Seems pretty strange the house I am moving from cost less than the place I am moving to and is 1/4 the size. This is all sinking in really slowly. Maybe when I move this Saturday it will actually click in my head what the implications of all this really mean. I was also handed a rather large janitor size key chain full of random shiny keys. Maybe I play to many video games but I expected a large column of light to come down with an Announcer saying I have now leveled up to the next stage of life "home ownership!" I should of hire the guy who announces boxing matches to do it.

Well I guess putting the cat back in the bag would be silly! Congrats to Romeo and Joliet...er I mean Allan and Joliet on their recent engagement. I've had my fill of shotgun weddings kids so lets do this up in style. Embrace the haltertop wedding dress showing off the belly! :)Anyway! Dead on my feet...

Boy I can't remember the last time I felt so tired. I just want to go to bed. I was tempted to just lock myself in the server room and sleep! But pictured above is probably the last time I felt this dead!

I was semi productive today. I did my 2nd to last final walk through on the condo and the paint job looks amazing. If I was a conceded dick I would be taking all the credit for myself. I really can't I had like eleventeen people helping me choose colors. I am so happy the way it turned out. Ya'll are lucky cause I would have blamed everyone of you! Then forced you to repaint. The oscars were on tonight. Those never seem to be really all that entertaining but tonight was actually pretty good. I haven't watched that many contenders this year. With all the brokeback mountain references out there I just choose to stay away from it. Well I kind of have this pre-conception about the lead actor from Cipote. I saw him in a movie where he would masturbate to the sound of women's voices over the phone and use his seamen as glue on the wall. Every thing I see the guy that's all I think. So that one is probably out. Anyway all the others will probably get thrown on to netflix. After all that is what is use for. The movies you were to lazy, embarrassed or just didn't have the time for....

Home away from home...

Ever notice the people who ride the train in the morning? You can tell the people who just want to sleep or read. Then there's that one person who practically brings their whole life with them. The crocheted seat covers, end table with tea cup and lamp. Their half way through some Grisham book about exciting lawyer stuff n junk. Yeah, I read that one to...

get um young!

So as I see it best reason to have a kid is to get him to do all the stuff you don't really want to do. Starting him off at mopping and waxing the floors. Maybe dust the ventilation ducts next(while he still fits). If he does a decent job maybe he will some day move up to mowing the lawn!

gah whoda thunk!

Odd, I guess i was approved for my loan. I am now officially a quarter of a grand richer. What should i do with it?! lets go to Vegas! Bet it all on red! Anyway so I am a couple more feet closer to moving in and now I just have to pack the rest of my stuff and I am there!
