So my parents are moving in with me for about 10 days. I mind and I don't mind it. It's really more of an inconvenience, but when I think about all the years I've financially and emotionally burdened them I guess 10 days isn't so bad. They finally sold their home and have sold 99% of their belongings for about 1 dollar each. They are planning on heading west past the mississip and past the Rockies. It is just enough space between us(about 5 states worth) for me to definitely miss them. It is also an excuse to travel a lot more. Anyway I am not sure how I am going to feel when I put them on the plane heading away from pretty much everything they have ever known here in Chicago. But I am really happy they get to spend the last few weeks actually living in the city like it began 35+ years ago.

I got a parking ticket this last month. I wasn't parked illegally and it wasn't a street cleaning day. I left for work that day and the city posted fliers on my street the same day they were doing work. Then ticketed me for not moving. That's not the best part of this fun little extortion act. The best part is parking ticket online. The fucking website is cityofchicago.org/revenue. Fucking bastards! Could you at least make it cityofchicago.org/bendovermotherfucker or cityofchicago.org/doingyoudryuptheassbitch. Maybe even cityofchicago.org/HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. At least it wouldn't be so obvious your ripping people off.

About a month ago someone bought me a large box of flavored ice. I am sure a lot of you out there had this as a kid. Let me tell you the 33% more artificial juice flavor simply cannot be beat by so called real juice. It's artificial it's made to be better. Think about that for a second. Why would anyone go through the effort of making something that's already out there worse than the original product? See I think everyone should give up eating real fruit and just get a big box flavored ice. The end....
